The sunflower plant is undemanding. Suitable for weak locations, tolerates heat and lack of water well. I need
similar sums of effective temperature as corn varieties from FAO 230 to FAO 250.

The optimal harvest time is when the rim of the cap dries and turns brown.
The moisture content of the grain is then close to the commercial standard, i.e. 9% moisture content.
