AMIDALA malting barley is currently recommended, among others, by the German fruit and brewing industry. In February 2021, the variety was recognized by its inclusion in the Berlin Program. In January 2021, it received a recommendation from the French committee of fruit growers and brewers - CBMO. Amidala is one of the few varieties on the market that is recommended by both malting barley evaluation programs.
