Description

Tiffany C1 beans – high protein quality and stable cultivation

Tiffany Bobik C1 is a variety with an exceptionally high protein yield and low content of alkaloid glycosides (vicine and convicine). Its features make it a popular choice for the production of feed, especially for poultry. Additionally, thanks to its low content of bitter substances, it can also be used as a food bean, which increases its export potential.

Why choose Tiffany beans?

  • High protein yield – an excellent choice for the production of high-protein feed.
  • Good resistance to lodging – stable cultivation even in more difficult conditions.
  • Medium-early maturity – allows you to obtain high-quality seeds.
  • Low content of anti-nutritional substances – a safer option for farm animals.
  • Export potential – possibility of selling as a consumer bean.

Growing conditions

To achieve the best results, it is worth ensuring appropriate sowing and care conditions.

  • Sowing date: As early as possible, preferably in March.
  • Optimum sowing density: 45-55 seeds per square meter.
  • Sowing depth:
    • Light soils: 8-10 cm
    • Heavy soils: 6-8 cm

Plantation protection

In the initial growth stages, proper weeding is important. Herbicides can be applied shortly before and after emergence, while mechanical weeding works well in wider inter-rows.

During cultivation it is worth monitoring:

  • Beet aphid – especially at the beginning of flowering,
  • The bean plant – in full bloom,
  • Chocolate spot – possible fungicide sprays,
  • Anthracnose – proper seed hygiene helps reduce its occurrence.

Tiffany Field Bean Harvest

The optimum moisture content of seeds at harvest is between 15 and 19 percent. It is worth paying attention to the method of threshing – too dry seeds can crack, which negatively affects their quality.

Tiffany beans – a proven choice for farmers

This variety combines high protein yield, stable cultivation and excellent quality parameters. It will work great both on farms focused on feed production and in the context of export to foreign markets. By choosing Bobik Tiffany, you are investing in a variety with high yield potential and wide application.
